Good Deal...or Overpriced? Cherry '95 F150

1995 Ford F150 XLT For Sale In Locust Grove VA 22508 - E & M Auto Sales

I'm looking to purchase a new pickup as I'm bored of the Ranger (poor fuel mileage, no power, small bed, small cab) so I have busted my *** so far this summer to accumulate the funds to sell the ol' Ranger and step up to a full size. I like the look of these trucks, this also has the 5.8L which is legit.

Truck has 115k on the clock, looks extremely clean, Lift was just installed as well as front upper & lower ball joints. Just curious if you guys think this is over priced or worth it? I'd have to fly in and drive it 8 hours home, but if the trucks reliable it'd be worth it. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks!

PS. If anyones lookin for a clean Ranger here's my Craigslist ad.

Nice looking truck but to me it seems high. Then you have to add in the price of plane ticket and gas driving home. If he would come down 3 or 4k, it might be worth it. They are still pretty easy to find out here, don't have any rust issues.

Is it really that hard to find a good truck up there? When I sold my 06 F250 I had a guy that drove down from that area to buy it, and I am another 120 miles past where that dealer is located on the Virginia Coast. But then I guess you guys doo have snow on the roads about 8 months out of the year. Good luck finding a truck. If I see anything on the local Craigs list I will post it up for you.

$9k is kinda steep. Even then though, that is one nice clean truck.

It's a nice truck, but waaaaaay too much!

If it were me, I'd keep your truck. Your truck is beautiful! You'd get worse gas mileage with the F150. I say do a below $500.00USD engine mod to your truck and keep it.

Kind of steep? My buddy paid $5000 for his '96 F-250HD CrewCab 4x4 460 ~3 years ago, and even then I thought that was probably a bit much.

$9,000 can get you a decent '98-'00 Super Duty if you shop around a bit.

yeah I thought it was a little steep, thanks for your guys input. Its tough finding a truck up here everything is a rot box with the salt and the snow, really takes its toll on the vehicle. Let me know if you guys find anything, my dream truck would be an '83-'86 F350, single rear wheels, 4x4. Maybe someday...

I saw a rust free truck with the same options, same bed/cab motor etc, with 115k miles on it for 7500 two years ago. But even that was an Eddie Bauer.

I think around 7k would be the absolute max i could see that truck going for.

Looks good! I have to agree, even though it has been well maintained it is expensive.

You can buy a '98 or '99 f350 with the 7.3 in it for about that in South Carolina. I would say that truck is way overpriced. My truck was 3200 and its a '94 f150 2wd in very good shape mechanically and cosmetically from the original owner.

Too much. I recently sold my 96 150 XLT 4x4 with 30,000 miles for for $7500. At that price it needs to be under 20,000 miles and 3/4 ton. I recently purchased a 97 3/4 ton XLT with 113000 miles for $4500. I would bet my paycheck it is just as clean as that one or better.
