Hi all,

My name is Joe and I live in West Point GA. and since I'm on the border I thought I'd join both the Alabama and Georgia Groups. I have a 1969 F100 Ranger longbed with an inline 6 (not sure if it's a 240 or 300). Although I'm 56 years old, this is my 1st pickup (ex New York City boy). I've done a few minor things but have never really done much mechanical work. I have a great mechanic I go to but he doesn't specialize in the older models and can be pretty expensive.

I have the chilton book and I can stare at the engine but as far as doing anything to it.... Any one in the area that could show me a thing or 3 or 4 while making a few bucks for themselves would be very helpful.
