Help me identify these pistons

Hello and welcome I came across some pistons and I know nothing about them maybe someone here knows more about these pistons more than I do, the casting number is L2245..I have google'd around and found TRW L-2245, but no details just someone mentioning on some old forum.

Thanks

Yep TRW pistons. The L-2245's are the 428 std replacement with (I think) 12.5 cc dish. Production went to India in 06 -07 or so. I'd shy away from those but anything USA made would be fine. The L-2303 was the std 428 CJ replacement. Those had a 10 -10.5 cc dish.

Well depending on what your going to do with your build ? you could get away with something else ? But back to the matter of fact..I had a set of original 2303-030's that were replacement for my first 428 build a few years back..before they were sent oversea's for casting... If your looking for a good forged piston at a good value..call Mark at Coast Performance..tell him your a forum member ..and even tho he only runs a certain amount of 428 pistons a year..the castings and the machining are great for s street and and most bracket applications.. JMO.. Good luck !
