steering gear replacement

Lining up my next victum. Bit of a problem to replace the steering gear because....

I'm working in a two car in use garage.
Truck has been lowered.
Has headers.
Don't have any help.
I'm old!

Anyway it's a pain getting it up high enough and working in tight spaces. Take it out the bottom or the top? Thinkin of using a ratchet strap around the booster to lower it out the bottom. Probably go with Red Head. Not sure about the ratio.

????????

Found my thread of when I replaced it. I couldn't get it through the top. Because yours is lowered, you may want it on ramps so you can loosen up the pitman arm connection. Good luck.

Might wanna give Blue Top a try. Both are quality rebuilds but Blue Top is typically 10-15% cheaper than Red Head. Same family just two different business's.
