ok so here's my latest issue. I let the truck sit for 15 minutes while im in the store or somethin, and it'll fire right up no problem. But if i let it sit overnight, or for 8 - 10 hours while im at work, i have to let the engine turn over for almost 10 good seconds and then push the throttle in order to get it to fire up. it almost definitely seems like its losing its prime over a very short period of time. additional symptoms are my water in fuel light coming on spontaneously, and I have my idle manually adjusted up to about 1000 rpms. truck also seems like its running a bit rich and im not getting the mileage that i used to. help please.
Check your battery cables I replaced my positive cable and both negatives since they were all corroded, I also took a dremel wire wheel to my block where the grounds attach and it made a huge difference.Any leaking injectors lines?, and like above what is the condition of your glowplug system?
