I recall a post saying all 3.73 are open and anything 4.10 will be LS. Can the 4.10 be open also in 99?? I'm referring to dually only.

 

I have a LS 3.73 in my truck lol. Look on the door sticker certification label. Even if it's a cab chassis it will still have one. You will get a code where it says axle, then take that code and look it up in the super duty tech folder and that will tell you what type. Or you cold look at the little tag if its still here and the code will be there too

shouldn't the 99 have a sterling rear in it?
