vacuum pump builing pressure
i had comprssor faliure and i replaced it then had the dyer deascit bag explode replaced everything in AC still had problems so i added a inline filter .....now im trying to pull a vacuum and im watching the vacuum pump build pressure . so far its built 50 PSI ive got both valves open on mainfold gauges and ive confirmed that vacuum pump actully vacuums so what the heck is it building pressure how is it that even possible ? and why would it do this ? im searching all over for answers no luck yet .... please some help me out with some direction cause im more then lost.

yall are gonna love this ......i recently bought new manifold gauge from Snap-On ACTR5134. the old set some cheap hand me down from a master tech five years ago more or less nothing special just the basics..... so my mind is tying knots out of itself ......so i looked over at my bench seen my old hand me downs grabbed them and hooked them up to vacuum pump .....as i was doing this i heard the unmistakable sounds of air bleeding watched the old gauges go down and start pulling vacuum so far so good ...... the point of this follow up post IF IT AINT BROKEN DONT FIX IT,OR REPLACE IT..... im also extremely disappointed with this snap on product and i will talking with my local Snap-On Rep!
