I need to get the c6 rebuilt for my F100. I've tried calling around to a bunch of different shops back home but either I'm getting no answer or close to $1k to rebuild it even after I do the remove & install myself.

The reason why I think it needs rebuilt is b/c the transmission blew the front seal, and the vent at the top of the case is plugged...causing it to blow fluid back up the dipstick once it got hot, and finally it was slipping like crazy when I finally got it loaded on a trailer to bring it home.

Do any of you guys know of a good shop on the coast that won't charge me some very valuable body parts to take care of this thing? If it doesn't need rebuilt, thats fine, so long as it's functioning again.
