Squeeze & The B-52s at the Greek last night. Loved watching my daughter Claire react to Planet Claire....

I didn't realize either of those groups were still around, let alone touring. Good show?

Yup, I can't say I'd ever heard of Squeeze but it may be that I can't remember or maybe my memory is failing, I can't recall which.

B-52s sounded good to great. The bassist and drummer looked years younger, but have been with them quite a while. The kids were bewildered/amused, as my daughter said it was different than the few other concerts she's been to, as she wasn't assaulted and pushed around by the crowd, and my son now knows what pot smells like. Both couldn't believe the elderly crowd dancing and singing and carrying on, especially their parents.

Private Idaho, Love Shack, Rock Lobster, and of course Planet Claire made the night for me.

We went with another couple. The gal knows the ropes. Our seats were in the pit. We got there early, and she veered off into another parking lot so we ended up right at the end, pointed out without having to wait when we left. A bit of a picnic before the show and it was a great experience.

If I hadn't dropped a pallet on my pinky toe on Friday, it would have been perfect. Hard to stand up and get in the rock and roll mood when your toe looks like a plum (size, color) and feels as good as it looks.....

I appreciate clever wordsmithing, and some reps are deserved for the above post.

Sorry that I couldn't, as I've got to spread them around first, but I woulda'!

Why thank you, thankyouverymuch! My wife appreciates my humor and says my wit is only half the reason. I think that's what she said...

I can't say if you missed any, but that's a pretty-fair collection.

And the point?

Anyone around here have any cast iron cookware laying around that they don't use any more? The wife and I are starting to get into a little more and looking to expand our collection. Especially looking for the camping dutch ovens.

Steve - not sure if this is against policy or not but figured you'd catch it if it was....

Whew!!!!!!!!!
Finally got the daughter married off and all the clean up and rentals returned.
All the kids are leaving and not camped out in my living room anymore.
Bank account is drained.
Life may get back to normal.
