I own a 2006 Ford F-150 XLT but i got a question about the 2009-2012 Mirrors
i plan on buying some 2009-2012 mirrors but will they fit on my F-150

They will fit, but if you are buying them for the turn signals or heat, you may not want to. I have a 2010 F150 I took my mirrors off to put on the tow mirrors. My son has a 2006 XLT and we put the mirrors on it. The turn signals did not work. My guess is there is some additional wiring required. We did not try the heated part as we would have needed the climate controls changed.
