I have a 2013 4X2 Super Cab SB with 144K on it but I didn't put those on. I bought it used with that many miles! It was a commercial lease truck that must have been driven a lot but never worked. It has the factory hitch but it shows no wear what so ever! The bed has a liner with no marks, gouges, or scratches. The only wear I can find is the drivers left seat bolster, the top of the steering wheel, and some scratches in the paint on the lower door frame where one would drag their shoe getting it or out. And the door edge has some chips in the paint from where the door must have hit another car or truck when opening the door.
I plan on using it to tow my race car with an open trailer. I do plan on some mods so that I can tow an enclosed trailer. It has the hitch & factory trailer brake controller, as well as both the "flat 4" and 7 pole RV plug. What it doesn't have is the right final drive gear ratio.

I have done only top quality synthetic oil every 10k. I first had it at a trusted dealership using ford oil and filters until warranty was up then used Valvoline with the same intervals.
Air filters have been only 2 or 3 I recall, did a set of pads and then a full set of pads and rotors after about 200k...
Had a few issues early on, did the new driveshaft, new vac pump, had a wiring issue when a wire in the harness was corroded (still under warranty) a factory defect I guess.
New battery when I had the wiring issue, may change it out sometime soon.
New set of plugs at about 175k.
Did a new hub (had a vacuum leak) at about 230k, only 2 sets of tires but cheated a little having set of winters and summers, still lots of life left on the second set though.
I think the nature of my driving helped me a lot, mostly highway and longer (obviously?) drives to and from work, drive it nicely, play with those turbos now and then (well sometimes it is hard to resist so more?)
Good Oil must be the answer! I am almost a poster boy for Ford now... it has been a great truck and yeah I would buy another one someday, this one still works fine though haha!

Maybe. There are a couple on another site who have posted 300,000 mile odometer shots and claim to have no engine issues. Both of them used conventional oil every 6-7,000 miles and haven't had a single engine issue.
Is your engine still going strong because of synthetic oil? Or is it a robust design that would be doing the same even if you used cheap oil?

Good question, I feel the turbos need good stuff and synthetic has a good record... the engine design is pretty decent, kind of built like a diesel I think, pretty robust.
I suppose that conventional oil is pretty decent now, I just prefer the stability of the other stuff, maybe the peace of mind as well?

Have to admit all of these miles are not mine. I wanted a brand new (ish) F150. But I had to compromise until Mama's van is paid for.
I pop into our small town Ford dealer. he has this 2013 in my color. I take it for a test drive.
Smooth as silk...
222,000 miles on her. arrrrgggggg
So I sit down and talk to the owner. ( you can do that in a small town) Tell me about this truck?
Local trade, guy drove to the cities every day for work.
We had just got done replacing both Turbo's and the timing components.
Whats you best price cash today.
Shuffles the paper work, checks some notes.
How about $9100?
SOLD!
So far she is keeping up her end of the deal.
