A/C problem

Tried using the search function but didnt find anything. I have a 2007 Expedition EL Limited, the other day my wife leaves to go to work and no AC. Display is blank. When she gets off work cranks the car up and it is working fine. Now it has happened several more time, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. The display is always blankwhen it doesnt work. Anyone ever have this happen? Thanks in advance

I had the same symptoms on my '07. Replaced the module and haven't had any problems. Here is the TSB from Ford. Explains the problem and the fix. You do not need to do the re-wire. Just replace the part and put the new one in. Easy to fix. Remove the glove box, and the module sits in plain view.

Per the dealer, I ordered part 9L3Z19E624B which is new part number.

Not sure if your problem is/was the same as mine. My HVAC screen would go completely blank as well. Turn off by itself. The only way it would work/come on was to turn the truck off for a period of time. It acted like nothing was wrong. New module, no problems. Knock on wood.
