I think what they meant is that the 5.0L V8 is standard in the other luxury models but the Limited will come standard with the Ecoboost for an increase of standard power.

I've got an Ecoboost. It's quick, but the 6.2L is quicker in a 1/4 mile race. A 46 Hp deficit is just too much to hold off even if you do get a good jump in 1st gear. You're going to get passed sooner or later. Then again, we live in the real world where people muff up races all the time and anybody could win.
