I have a 2004 150 with the auto console shifter , sometimes it wont come out of park unless i play with the brake pedal and the button on the shifter ,does this have something to do with the brake switch????... Thanks Lew

 

I'd start with replacing your brake switch, it's only like 30 bucks, I got mine on rock auto. I also disabled my shift lock, you can find how to do that in your owners manual. I was also having issues with my cruise not working, but the new brake switch fixed that.
