I'm assuming that is an intake off of a boss 302? What did that cost?

It will be interesting to see if there will be much low end torque loss with that intake. Is a mustang intake cam (i believe that the exhaust cams are the same) in the works for the next step? it would be nice to see that on the dyno as well.

Your correct its a Boss 302 mustang intake. It will be interesting to see what losses or gains are with the intake. We will be doing exhaust on the truck first dynoing and then adding the intake and dynoing / tuning.

Ended up trading it in after determining that I really didn't need a truck at this point in time. I don't tow as much as I once did and decided that I had other priorities. I'll likely end up getting an older V10 powered SD in a year or so, in which case I'll have to look you up for tuning!

But in the meantime, since I have a Coyote engine and happen to be a member of the best Ford truck forum around, I figure I can come down here and troll this forum!

Small update went with Gibson Exhaust for sound reasons ... Nice low rumble with NO drone. Single 3 inch from y pipe back.
Intake will go on in a week or so... ++

Update!

Went to install intake today and it would not fit under cowl . I knew it was going to be close.. it was like a door stop under the cowl and i was not ready to beat back the cowl just yet , so need to think a while on what we need to do.

Ok plan B, It looks like we can maybe mill or remove the back half ridges off the top of the intake and give that a try.. More to come in a week or so..

On a side note after watching the video again, that is one seriously fast truck. I counted around 6 seconds to 60, which is really amazing for something that close to stock. Would have spanked my 6.7L truck for sure.

Exactly what I was thinking trolling around!

Here's the Coyote next to the Lizzie. 102 years of Ford greatness!

Check out the wheel designs and how LITTLE they have changed in that century...
