New to expedition have questions
Hello to all I just bought an 07 expedition el eddie bauer and well its my first Ford ever I've owned gm always and jumped ship every vehicle i owned seemed to give me problem and recently I started liking the new design and length of the expedition there are alot of differences from my old suburbans to this oil for one i saw i HAVE to use 5w 20 is that correct i havent found a place that sells the 5 quart jug around here only the 5w 30 is it a big deal if i use the 5w 30 versus the other and should i really stick to the ford synthetic blend i normally use full synthetic. Also is the oil change diy on this truck difficult i cant find a single youtube vid on it the burb was easy and fuel economy im getting about 12mpg city and highway i was getting a little better with the burb but to be honest i think i need to change oil air and fuel filters the truck seems to have been repoed about a year ago and spent some time going from auction to auction and dealer till i got it i was going to take it to ford but i missed the deal for 29.99 might still take it just to have everything checked out since it is at 75000 well i went on and on but hopefully you guys can understand and lend a hand thank you

I plopped (a technical term) a GPS on the dashboard in the center tray. Works fine. There is no need to constantly update the data as the roads really don't change that much from year to year. Pretty sure my data base is almost 5 years old. Several models will now self-update. High end units can display traffic, etc. Built in certainly looks nicer, though. My wife's Honda has a very nice unit. Voice control, etc.
The new Ford Sync system is verrrrrrrrry nice. My dealer gives me a loaner when I drop the Expedition off for routine service. I especially appreciate the Bluetooth link to my mobile phone. Got the same loaner a couple of times and the system auto-linked the second time. Audio is clear and crisp in both directions.
