Thanks....I'm pretty sure it came with the kit, but I could be wrong as it's been a while since I installed the suspension. May want to call chassis engineering to see if it's standard in their kits or if it's an add on.

Picked up a seat today from an older Ford ranger. Doesn't look like much but hopefully I can get it recovered reasonably because I think it will be a nice fit once I get the height just right.

Purchased the bed kit from Midwest Early Ford and got around to spraying some epoxy on it today. Also picked up a set of fiberglass rear fenders.

Looking good! I'm with you on the new bed from Midwest. Did you happen to pick yours up at Carlisle? I was behind someone that was loading one. Do you mind letting me know how you prepped the new metal before epoxy? I'm at that point and i'm not sure what is on the seemingly bare metal but since it's not rusting i'm thinking there is a film of some kind on it. I was thinking soap, water, drying, and then maybe a scotch bright before epoxy primer.

I bought my bed from Mid West Early Ford and picked it up at Carlisle in April of 2015. I saved a lot of money in freight.

I didn't get it to the body shop untill January 2016. It did not rust. I don't know what my body guy did to prepare it.

I wish I could of picked it up but unfortunately ended up paying freight. I used spi epoxy and just went over everything with 80 grit then used their wax/grease remover before spraying. So far very impressed with the quality of this kit.

Question?
how hard is it to locate the rear fenders and drill the required holes? I am curious how you go about this for the glass fenders.

After an almost 3 year period of no work being done on the truck, I’m finally back working on it. Here are some updated pictures of steering and brake work.

Looks fabulous!!!
How do you like the Altman Easy Latches?
I am jealous of all the room you have to work. Also like your paint booth.

Keep up the good work.
