Can someone tell me where the stock location is for the coil on a 351 4 barrel HO engine? My truck has the coil bolted on the inner fender, but it keeps coming loose, and I know this isn't where it supposed to be. Does it mount on the intake someplace, or on the big A/C compressor bracket?

 

On my 86' 351W the coil's stock location was bolted to the intake manifold, I moved mine to the inner fender and added a ground to the bracket.

For mine, standing in front of the truck looking at the engine. The coil was on the left side of the intake manifold in front of the carb.

Factory location on mine was on the AC bracket. Since I removed that, it's now on the drivers side of the intake on top.
