Hey all,
looking for a source that can tell me what year truck my ARE cap will fit. I had it on a 2003 F350.

Selling it and not sure which trucks it will fit. 6 1/2' bed.

I think all beds, post OBS(old body style), 1999-2007, newer beds 2008-2012 are same bed length and width, short bed and long bed

 

It will fit 99-07 for sure. The 08-12 have different style tailgates, the cap would fit the bed but might not work with the new tailgates. Most guys who have 08-12 trucks and want to use their caps from older trucks, change their tailgates to the older model.

 

That makes sense. I thought they were same size but the tailgate is different.
