My 99 XL was a owned by an electrical co. Then a landscaping co. for the last 8 years. The thing has been worked HARD its whole life. Not a single problem with anything electical for me yet. Iv had it for almost 3 years now.
I don't have any pics of the new trucks. I'm sure someone on here does though.

Go to Ford's website and use the build your truck option. It will show the interior of the truck with your color and seats. Also even shows the different door panel you get with the power equipment group if you select it. The e locker I saw on a manual 4x4 was operated by the same **** as the esof ****. Not sure if the **** is shown on the ford site pictures.

i dont know, since all the local dealers dont have stock XL with manual. From the pictures ive seen the trucks with manual 4x4 and the e-locker have no dial only a coin holder where the dial would be. So im guessing there must be a button shomewhere on the dash, because the lever on the floor only has the normal 2H,N,4H,4L

think I'm ready to get rid of my 2004 F350 and replace it with a new one. I'm looking at a plain jane F350 crew cab XL 4x4, 6.2 gas with 4.30 Elocker, cab lights, up fitter switches, o and manual 4x4! I'm tired of these fancy over priced JUNK trucks that everything breaks and cost 500-1000 to fix, no power window motor breaking, no GEM control going on the fritz, no power folding mirrors breaking, I'm sick of it all. I want to go back to a real truck and finally be happy with it. Problem is no dealer with 45 minutes of me had a true XL truck, ever one i call all has stupid power options, carpet floor option, electric 4x4 option. Can those of you with real XL please post some pictures of the interior that has manual windows, manual mirrors, manual 4x4 on the floor please. Also those of you who have manual 4x4 how does the elocker work if there is no dial on the dash, i asked my dealer and they don't know because they haven't had any XL with manual 4x4!

I meant there is just a dial to turn on the E-locker in trucks that are 2wd or manual shift 4x4.
The esof has the turn dial for 2wd, 4hi, 4lo which pulls out to engage the locker.
according to the maual I read

The heated mirrors are nice for clearing frost and not have to worry about scatching the mirror and even for defogging and getting rid of dew. Power adjustable is nice for special situations while backing up. But in order to get the power mirrors you have to get the power windows and locks.
