I also have heard nothing but bad things about DDM, including shipped factory direct... from China...

It was on Facebook in the Powerstroke group. A couple of people reported problems.

Needless to say, the HID market is riddled with problems and you cant seem to find a winner. So I'm gonna go with Retro Solutions.

Did have a ballast go bad about 2 months after installing. Retro had me go through some troubleshooting but then issued me another ballast on deposit. Got it quickly enough for my trip to the beach, then upon receiving the old one they tested and confirmed it was bad and issued me a refund on the deposit. Wish I didn't have the problem but the service and response was good so still satisfied. Great kit overall.

However, being a "redundancy" kind of guy, I still have the old lights on hand in case the whole thing goes dead in the middle of nowhere and I need to get home. Fairly easy to disconnect the kit and install the old bulbs, etc.

This is my plan as well. Glad to hear it is feasible.

Sorry for the stupid questions..

What kind of bulbs (H4..??) are require for a stock headlights on a 2003 E350

I want a "high/low beam combo"

Sorry I just got the truck and goggle is giving all this different fitments..
