Wow, I can't beleive how many historians we have. Also how many of them are eagar to educate the rest of us.

Perhaps I should revise my restoration theme.

To clarify, I am not looking for West Coast Customs appearing truck. Not that there's anything wrong with that but in my opinion these trucks look best in a more Classic form. I say Classic form because I feel strongly that they should be updated to drive safely on today's roads which I think by definition isn't "Classic" (disk brakes, updated suspension, LED lighting, etc).

To me the Classic form means 15" steel wheels, fat white wall tires, a color that is solid and fairly common.

So however you want to "term" that theme...that's what I am going for!

 

Build it however it pleases you, call it whatever you'd like if you need a name for it. That's what this hobby is all about. I was just trying to say that there is a romanticized version and the true story, just like people think the old west was all Bonanza, Billy the Kid, or Wyatt Earp.

 

Well it's been awhile since my last post. Lot's of progress on the truck, infact it will be completed within the month (WOOO HOOOOO)!!!

Life, waiting on parts, etc got in the way. But now its on the 5 yard line so I thought I would post a few more pictures.
