C8AE-H heads

Can I put a pair of C8AE-H heads on my 360?

Yes, that's the heads they came with from 68-71

And even though they probably have the right exhaust manifold bolt pattern, check it before you slap them things on

No overkill.. cool, If I recall correctly I think they had the 16 bolt pattern.. I will double check that ..thanks

They would have been off a GT390, they'd have had 14 holes drilled and tapped. Unless someone drilled the two center, bottom holes, ala 428CJ. If they were off anything else, they'd have only the 8 vertical holes.

Talked to the owner 8 bolt pattern... the heads I seen were cj ..that's great tho no need to drill and tap.. is there a difference other than the bolt pattern? is it still a gt head? 2.08 1.65? ..360 gt haha awesome

C8AE-H is the "generic" FE head for 68-71. Std sized valves, unless someone's spent some money and upgraded them. 16 bolts doesn't signify a CJ head, anyone could have drilled the extra bolt holes at this point in time, just as I have done in the past. Casting numbers are the only way to ID a head
