Need some help guys

On my last trip I was going over the Skyway Bridge and on the back side I noticed some black smoke with a short burst of white coming from my exhaust. I reach my location unhooked and started back home when and the truck seemed to run funny. Would not get up to running speed and a short distance down the road stalled. Restarted and same thing happened so I had it towed to the shop. I thought it was FICM so I sent it Ed, reinstalled still the same. Done so far: rebuild FICM, changed oil and filters, cleaned AFE air filter, changed both fuel filters, check fuel pressure 50 psi static & 46 psi WOT and changed ICP cause before it stalled I had a dead pedal. All filters Motorcraft. Codes: PO266 & PO272 alternately, most of the times its po266. When shows po272 it seems to run better but still stalls after a short time. It restarts but very low idle 500-600 rpm and labored. Any thoughts as to what I need to attack next. Thx

Don't know was still on the bridge. One other tthing I noticed is that the secondary fuel filter was very dark in color when I changed it.

With two bad ones on the same bank, I would probably replace all 4, but that is easy to say since it isn't my money.

If you're doing the repair yourself then do two. If you're paying someone to do it then do 4. My school of thought here is that if for some reason you have to go back and do the other two the labor cost will be double (if paying someone else) and would have been almost enough $$ to do all 4 initially.

I would also invest the $$ to do the blue spring fuel pressure upgrade since your fuel pressure, IMHO, is borderline at WOT.

Thanks guys. Planing on starting today and replace the two that are thrown codes for now $ real tight right now. Will do on the blue spring along with a couple of maintainance things. Where is the best place to buy injectors my dealer here charges full retail on everything no breaks at all.

You can get genuine motorcraft from Tousley Ford for ~$220 or so. You'll have to send your cores back to them after the repair.
