I have a M5R2 transmission that was mounted behind a 302 in an F150. This trans will fit any Ford small block bolt pattern motor. The trans worked when it was removed from the truck. We scrapped out the truck because it had a detonated piston but the trans shifted fine when we drove the truck off the trailer into the garage. Guy we bought the truck from was using it as a daily driver.

 

What year is the transmission? Im looking for a 98+ m5r2 for my ranger 5.0 swap for the correct shifter location. thanks

 

To be honest with you I cant remember exactly what year it came out of. Is there a way I can measure or something to find out for you?
