'01 F250 4x4 front wheel bearing?

My '01 F250, 7.3L, 4x4 is in need of a front, drivers side, left wheel bearing. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe these are a sealed unit and are easy to replace. Who sells them for a reasonable price? I need to get this fixed soon as I will travel to Alaska early July to fish. Thanks for the help. MTG

Check Rock Auto, one of the sponsors. Good prices on Timken. Be aware, they don't include the four mounting studs or o-ring.

Rock Auto?

I looked at Rock Auto for their parts. The problem is which bearing? My F250 has ABS brakes and cruise. Do I need the bearing unit with the internal wheel speed sensor cable? MTG

You need the hub that is for the ABS system. you don`t NEED the one with the cable because you can plug yours into the new one. But since you are getting new you might as well have everything new. Also a big puller makes getting the hub off real easy, sure beats the BFH.

I've bought quite a few sets of Timkens through RockAuto and they've always come with studs and o-rings. I take it you got some through them that didn't? That would tick me off.

Love Clay and try to give him all the money I can, but RockAuto shipped to me is $128.37. I don't know how they do it.

Yes I bought one that had the studs and o-ring in it, then decided a week later to replace the other and it did not have them. It arrived with a damaged abs plug so I sent it back and they sent another and it was without them as well. Another phone call to Rock Auto and they were supposed to contact Timken and get it straight, well after 3 days and not hearing anything I contacted Timken myself and they said they don't include them anymore. I may never order from them again. It cost me over 20 bucks for the studs and o-ring from the dealer.
