Geez, no parts store in town carries these, o reiley's says its unavailable, rock auto is out of stock and won't let me put it in my cart... I really need 2 of these to finish up my rear brake setup, but it seems like they have become unavailable.

I just hit up NAPA's online store and came up empty as well, you'd think that be a somewhat common part.

edit @ crazy That is the opposite of what I need. I need a male to male union.

I bet o reily stores still have them on the shelf if they have stock, since it seems like until recently it was a normally stocked item. No o reily stores near here though.

There is no grainger near here but there is one back home.

If i can't find these I'm gonna have to go with 4 other adapters to go from 3/16 inverted flare to 1/8 NPT back to AN. The AN lines I have now will thread on to a male 3/16 inverted flare. ugh.

I checked mcmaster carr and they have "brass 45 degree flared fittings" which, correct me if I'm wrong, would be what I need. Its a bit confusing because they don't call them inverted flare fittings but I know inverted flares for brake lines are 45 degrees so these should work.

Looks like I can get them shipped out monday morning for a couple dollars!

I hate when one little part holds me up. Just reflects the kind of help I get here when needed! Thanks Montana

yeah there is one not far away, I already checked. They don't have them and they aren't available. Click on your link and try to add one to your cart... says it can't.

I ordered a pair from mccmaster carr, hope this will be the end of my rear brake drama. its been one thing after another with this disc install.

again, so frustrating dealing with these places, try adding that to your cart. none in stock and its unavailable!!

Trust me, I checked all the parts stores around me. carquest, napa, advance, autozone, and I checked online at o reiley, summit, jegs, and rock auto. Any place you can find it on a site, as soon as you add it to your cart it says its unavailable.

I probably should have ordered more than 2 just in case I ever need a spare.

I'm able to purchase both of them with no problems, want me to buy it and ship to you? I don't mind.

I appreciate the offer, but I already place an order with mccmaster carr, so I'll see how that pans out. Tell me, though, you can really add that to your cart and check out? Mine says, in 2 big red error boxes, "The order contains quantities that are unavailable. Only qty of 0 is available for this item(Brass Fittings, SAE 45º Flare Fittings, Type - Union, Tube Size - 3/8", Part No: 490-383)"

And my closest store said they only carry the female unions, said they don't carry male unions.

I went right to where I had to pay, I even tried to add 5 more to my order and it let me!
