Outfitting my new F250 has been an ongoing process. The first and obvious thing was installing the Happijac tiedowns for the camper, and then the airbags. Since the camper was custom built for a Toyota Tundra, I had to build a "riser platform" so that the overhead portion would clear the cab.
Since we will be in Colorado the last two weeks in October, tire chains are not optional. Ford specifies only class "S" chains and I finally found my size at Chains R Us. I ordered only one set to be sure that they were OK. I was pleased, so the second set came last week. It looks like the first chance that we will have for a shakedown trip will be the 1st of August.

I am on the coast. Will not be able to make the meetup on the 23rd. The old 77 F150 still needs work before a trip out of Harrison county is doable. Do not want to go to a Ford meetup in a Buick. Contact me if we can meetup sometime. Chip
