I think I contacted them a long time ago and we couldn't come together because of the copyright issue as mentioned in your build thread. I think I will contact them again. I assume its billet aluminum? Was it just a sticky back? My emblem has like 8 tabs to hold it in the fender holes. Need to check with them.

Yes, everything is billet aluminum. They actually make the slotted fender badging like you have, with the vents...not sure how they're put together though. Mine is the traditional 3M VHB adhesive tape variety.

Excellent. I bet pricey too. Never ends does it. I feel like I could drop a grand a day and still find stuff I want!

LOL, yup. Never does end. Still have ideas I'm batting around, like changing headlights to ones with the LED daytime running lights built in, and stuff like that. It's a full time job, lemme tell ya.

That would be sweet! I am really loving LED's. I know Eric has a bunch of LED stuff in his X, do you too?

Right now, I have the LED tail lights, third brake light, and front corner marker lights. I am getting bulbs for the license plate, cargo lights, and maybe in the cab also. I like them also.

Will you have to do anything with the other lights like the special flasher for the tails? I am a bit new to LED tech.

The tail light assemblies were good on their own as they had control built into them. I had to change flashers for the front corner markers though - they would go kinda nuts on the stock flasher. Had to get one for LED.

I think I remember you mentioning that at the GTG. Where did you get your tails? I am looking at replacing mine.

Forget the shop exactly, but got them through eBay. Think I paid $115 for the set of three (tails plus cab-mount third brake light), shipped. Can't exactly remember though.

That's where I found the headlights I am thinking about too, with the LED strip in them for daytime running lights. They're the exact same ones I have with that addition. Just look for the highly rated shops - I haven't had issues out there.

Time for me to rack it - 6AM will be here before I know it. Catch you tomorrow.
