Hey Ken,
Is 7 90A a valid ECU code? If not, I'll have to tear the e-brake out tonight and check again.

The ECU code will be three letters followed by a number (example: TDE1). For your 1997 its not absolutely required as we use 4 bank programs for virtually all 1994.5-1997 Powerstrokes. All I need to know is the year, model (F250, F350, etc.) and tranny type (and you all of that in your signature!).

If I have a "one bake" Diablo Sport Chip can it be programed for a 1997 Ford PSD?? If so how much would it cost to have done and who can do this?

Found the code TDE0. Can the tranny line pressure program be deleted from this? If so, I'm going to order one.

Yes, it can be done. We already have programs for TDE0 without tranny mods. Be aware that even with the stock tranny mod the shifts will be slightly firmer just due to the added horsepower.

Sale ends this mid-night. When ordering online, click "Details" on the product and fill in the specifics of what you need after adding it to the shopping cart.

How do the Delta programs compare with the SCMT? Same?

There's no blanket answer because there are dozens of ECU codes to program for. Generally though we can override your stock ECU code with the Delta to give you a better Ford base program to work from. Both perform similarly, the biggest difference is you get diagnostic codes with the SCMT and switch on the fly with the Delta.

Ya, I bought the SCMT from you about a month before they added the OBDII code reader to it, so I don't get codes. Just wanted to make sure performance/fuel mileage gains (at least with the 60hp) would be similar

The 54HP Diablo setting has about the same torque as the SCMT 60HP so performance and mileage is about the same. The 78HP Diablo setting has higher torque than the 80HP SCMT so you'd see a nice increase there. As with the SCMT, you'd need an EGT guage and an exhaust if you plan to do heavy towing in the high setting.
