2012 painting chrome bumper

I ended up sliding into someone in the wet with my trailer and my lower bumper needs to be replaced. I currently have a chrome one but i want to know what i should do to have a painted one. Im not sure if i should get the chrome one and sand blast it then powder coat or get an xl bumper or if getting a king ranch bumper would work. Im not sure but i figured those are my options, im just not a fan of all the chrome but i want to do it right so that paint holds up. Thanks in advance

The cheapest and most logical option is to get an XL bumper and paint it.
