Ground on valve cover got pulled away from connection and now it won't start! PLEASE HELP!!!!

A friend of mine has a 2003 F450 7.3 and we have replaced the transmission in it but, while in the process of reassembling the truck my buddy slammed the transmission dipstick tube down by the firewall, after many hours of working on the truck the tube got him and I pissed off LOL!!!, and when he did he caught what looks to be a ground wire, braided stainless steel wire, it is connected to the passenger side valve cover at the back of the engine and pulled it out of wherever it connects to, now the truck will not start and it is getting fire to the starter, jumped the solenoid with a screwdriver to check it, someone please tell me where this wire connects to and if that could be causing the starting issue!!! Please Help!!! Thanks in advance for the help!!!!

That's kind of what I was thinking I was just trying to figure out if anyone knew exactly where it hooks to that way I know that I can connect it to the place it came from, like I said its my buddies truck and I don't want to just start hooking stuff up anywhere for 2 reasons, 1: if something goes wrong it can't be blamed on me, and 2: if hooking the wire back up doesn't work I know I have properly eliminated the problem
