Well, I removed the Aerostar IFS. It served me well for many years. I also got the Thunderbird IRS removed and cleaned up ready for redesigned installation once the Heidts is in place.

Installing the boxing plates. I need to determine if I want to box the entire frame. More thought to be had...

I started by measuring the 19 3/4". I then clamped it in place and tig tac welded. I finished the top tig in spurts of 1-2 inch lengths alternating frame rails. I will leave the top showing the tig welding but smoothed out the bottom.

here she is with some guts
boughts some qa1 coilovers because i wanted something slicker than the original springs
just need the figure how to mount...currently temp installed in stock shock low-cal

no matter where i positioned the engine while setting up where to weld the motor mounts, the stock oil pan fouled
enter the shinny canton oil pan that set me back 3 bills but was made for this setup. wow
