It looks good. Just be careful with that air cleaner. If it's the kind that has a layer of foam in it for the air cleaner. I've seen a couple cars backfire with those and the foam burned really quick. I'm not sure if that is the same kind but just watch out for it.


That fuel cell is a clean looking set up! Sometimes it's just easier starting with universal type of parts over making something fit that was designed for another vehicle.

That truck is going to be a beast when you get it back together!! It should be a blast to drive.

You are correct. It is the foam. I am not sure I will use this air cleaner but I sure like the look. I need to see the height with the hood on. This would be sweet with a scoop. Also, I wonder if k&n makes a round filter that would replace the foam.

My build has has come along quickly since they built the Summit Racing store near me.

If you run it with a scoop. You could also run a K&N type of panel filter, in a box mounted on the bottom of the hood that connects the scoop to the velocity stack.


It would be dangerous for my bank account if I lived close to a Summit store!
