'59 fridge road trip...... NOT

Ravin has a rare 5 day weekend coming up from the medical Center and I have had the WORST(busiest) week EVER in my cabinet shop. I soooo wanted to take the diesel fridge on a road trip pulling the '58 Aloha to Eastern Washington and maybe Idaho, but still needs a few things like a front clip and new brake cyls in the rear and a valve cover gasket and insurance and a radiator that doesn't spew coolant..... No real worry, we'll pull it with the '92. But that's a 'store bought' rig. Leaving on the ferry after work on Wednesday night. It will still be fun. Next trip we'll be pullin' the 58 with the 59........

That trailer does looks best behind your fridge. Just kinda belongs behind a vintage rig.
Enjoy your trip anyway.

Whoa Gary, show a little modesty and cover that up! Just cuz ya have it, don't mean ya got to show it to everybody on the hiway! geez!
Gary the troopers would probably give you a birthday present you don't need. Enjoy your day and have a nice safe trip.

That '92 looks a little too unmolested for you Gary! Can't you at least take the hood off or something?

Well there IS a hose clamp holding the clutch pedal up so it pivots properly in the worn out plastic bushing, and the tailpipes broke off behind the mufflers so I wrapped them with roof flashing and a couple more hose clamps came into play and I removed an 80 gal diesel tank from the bed and welded in a 35 mph road sign to cover the notch in the bed, and then there's the radio that only works with the right series of thumps on the dash board. Sometimes upon start-up it does a weird vibrational thing until you rev it up pretty good. It might have something to do with the 7.3 IDI and it's 'dual mass flywheel', or maybe the starter staying engaged. It's our good rig. I bring tools, that's why we have a service body on it!

Nice! I've always thought it'd be cool to have an old airstream to pull behind my 60'
