4WD coils in a 2wd?
Has anybody put 4wd coils spring in their 2wd superduty? I have a chance to pick up a set of "D" rated front coils off a 4wd cheap. The owner say they measure 20" unloaded. Mine only measure 13" at normal squat. It seams like a pretty big difference between the two. Maybe they just compress that much under normal load???
The other thing is that I have a 5.4 and these are for a deisel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
These are both 2006 SD.

Are you looking for troubles?
My 4WD has 2" blocks added to the suspension, so likely those springs are 2" longer than for 2WD.
Than diesel engine is about 300lb heavier and to my knowledge front is having stiffer springs to compensate. The stiffer springs don't have to be bad thing, but how do you squeeze extra 2" ?
