I love it!
But how can it only get 20 - 24 mpg?
My 5 spd gas Ranger 10 years ago got 24, and my 7400# PSD got 21 a few years back.
You'd think it would get a lot better than that?

I especially love the 2.8 powerstroke on the intake.
that mileage would be better with the proper driver im thinking.it is just not fair that the epa keeps us from having great vehicles like that.i would bet it would not pass emmisions in states that require it...not that it would stop me...haha

Yeah I caught that too. I am guessing that English isn't the first language of the person selling that truck... Nice looking truck though. It looks to me like it must be mechanically injected since you can see the individual fuel lines to the injectors. I want one! That or a 4BT in a 4x4 Ranger...

I talked to a guy a couple weekends ago that has done several 4BT swaps into rangers and he said that 40-45 MPG is not hard to obtain with a standard cab 4x2 Ranger. He said that the swap isn't difficult to do, just time consuming. The thing that sucks is that it is catching on so a good 4BT will set you back about $3k around here unless you're just plain lucky.
