Y Pipe???

Well I contacted a guy at home run auto in souix falls an he said he has the spyder pipes and I explained to him what I was doin and he said he know exactly what I am talking about. He mentioned about the plenum reducer that comes with it. If it is from the early 99 I shouldn't need any reducer correct. I am goin to contact him tomorrow and ask about the turbo side of it. I totally forgot to mention that when I talked to him. He says he has a few of ten for $125 including the reducers. Would like to get an intercooler setup before I make the move back to Washington state hauling all my crap!! I got my own uhaul!!!

The obs plenums are 2-1/4 right? I thought I read that somewhere???? So there is some sort of reducer boot that goes on the plenum side. Even if it is out of an early 99 sd. I need to get some good pick of the difference betwee the obs and sd y pipe where is connects to the turbo. This guy might have the correct y pipe. He sounded kinda older and very confident that he knew exactly what I was talking about. Like I said hel told me he has a few so if this is the right on I will let the FTE boys know about it!!!

Are there pipes that fit our trucks or do they need to be fabbed up? By pipes I mean from the intercooler to the y pipe.

The obs and E99 plenums are 2". The L99 and up SD's are 3". I just bought a E99 spyder and have E99 intercooler and pipes on the way. My understanding is only the hot pipe will need a slight modification to fit the OBS. Yes the E99 spyder needs the reducer boots. The L99 spyder will not fit the obs unless you change plenums, turbo, turbo pedestal, and up pipes.

Buy it before someone else does. That is a good price as they are getting hard to find.

You can buy the banks turbo outlet pipe from summit racing but I don't know about the twin ram pipe.

I would be curious what kind of mods have to be done on the pipes? I think I saw it somewhere but can't remember.
