got some question bout this new truck

alright im looking at a 1993 f 250 its got a 5.8. so im looking at gettin an exhaust for it duals of course. and when i look at kits they all say the package comes with a single inlet dual outlet. well this truck has two pipes running into the muffler and one running out kinda awkward so... i was wondering where and who makes a dual exhaust kit for this and is this a stock exhaust or do you think it has headers the truck is located bout an hour away so id rather not drive up there just to check on certain things. also if it doesnt have headers already who makes some decent headers for a decent price. i am looking to do this right so i can actually gain a couple mpgs amd some ponies hopefully to. also who makes a decent chip for this truck. if it matters its a straight cab longbox. auto.

thanks in advance

Are you sure you're not confusing the catalytic converter for the muffler? Stock on my 89 F250 351W, the cat acted as a Y-pipe for the exhaust, and it was a singles pipe from there back.

I got a pair of Hedmans for my 94 big block. They fit and work fine and they weren't pricey. They don't have a coating tho, so they need painted or wrapped.

As far as an exhaust system, I'd just try and find a local shop that'll do a system. Then you can choose the diameter, mufflers, and and exit. I got duals with flowmaster flow-thrus dumped down right under my rear tank for $230. I even got a cross tube for the O2 sensor.
