1990 Ford 350 Van/School Bus Diesel
when i saw this for $500, i immediately sent the guy an email - and being only 90 minutes after he posted it, i'm likely his first hit. i'm hoping he calls me back. not really sure what i need it for, but diesel vans just catch my attention - and if i get lucky and find out it has a turbo or something that would really be sweet! being a school bus, it likely has the raised roof and all that fun stuff... the possibilities are endless - especially when its selling for scrap value!

the other find i had tonight was this one 1987 diesel F 250 4x4
not near as nice of a rig, but i'm tired of my overweight F250 having a 6-banger, and thinking that building the 2 into 1 might produce a nice result for not too much money, and when its done i just have to make sure a couple VIN tags and license plates from my current 6000# F250 attach themselves to the finished truck, which would be on the heavier frame on the one posted here
or maybe i should get real and just start with a truck thats in one piece... but what fun is that

 

Around here a 4X4 ZF5 sells for twice of what he is asking for that 87, and that truck could have one in it as it was the first year it was offered. A couple of years ago when scrap started getting high, a lot of these old girls got crushed around here.

 

Any running manual 4x4 diesel, even if parts....is 1000 dollars in MT

 

so far no luck hearing back from people - people are so hard to get in touch with from craigslist around here - is that just a seattle thing
