hey guys I have an 83 f150 regular cab 4x4 351w HO. im rebuilding the front end, and noticed the LF cv axle has a bunch of play in it. the u joint in it does not have the c clips so I don't think I can just buy a u joint for it. and I don't see anywhere where I can buy the whole cv axle, anybody experience this? if so please let me know if I need the whole axle or if theres a u joint I can buy. thanks.

The clips are on the inside instead of the outside.

 

Just so you know the difference, these trucks do not use CV axles. They are regular standard u-joint type drive axles. The pass side has a slip joint in it also.
