Happy Mothers' Day - To ME!
Woe is me, I'm all alone. My wife is in Myrtle Beach S.C. visiting her parents.I will call my 90-year old Mom in Ohio soon, then it's outside to get done all those things that have fallen into neglect due to working 6 ten-hour days(plus 2 hrs.per day commute time) per week. They include:
The Garden
The Yard Work
The Vehicles
The Daughters' College Choir Performance
The Sunday Family Meal
Some,if not most of these are regularly tended to by that most- important-of-all family member, aka "MOM".Not so much on the vehicle maintenance, though.
Call her, email or text her, drive over and see her, perhaps take her out to eat, or better yet, cook for her - but in some meaningful way , honor your mother, and the mother of your children.
Then, get your lazy azzes outside and get something done.

Steve thats too bad your children's mother can't share your sunday family meal. Hope she is enjoying her day anyway.
I don't have much work planned for the day!
I did get about two hours of mountain bike riding in.
Now I'm smokin' some ribs for the mothers in my life.
Hope everyone enjoys today especially the moms.
Life is good!

That is two hrs. spent in the Fridge though isn't it?
I echo your words to cherish you mom. Mine is in late stages of Alzhiemers and dosen't know if I come or go. Dad still has her at home but I don't know how?! I was heading over there yesterday afternoon and ended up taking my wife to the ER instead till after 10 PM. (long ongoing story)
Yes, we need to cherish all the moments we can in this brief life!

Thanks guys. Heading to Dr. again with the wife in a few minutes.
Was able to go out and mess with the fuel gauge on the Fridge for a little while earlier. Good to be working on it. I did finish up putting on brandy new store bought parking brake cables over the last few days as well too!

The wife is again on the mend. Hopefully she should be back to her old self by the end of summer if no more set backs like the other nite. Things have looked fairly bleak a couple of times but we are thankful for what we have and what we have been blessed with.
