Cam timing on 351W.

I'm getting ready to swap replace the blown 5.8L in my '97. I'm swapping in an '85 motor, and I am wondering if the EFI will be affected if I move the cam from -4 to 0 degrees?

I dont think so, it should still make enough vacuum for SD. It may change your power band

Was this a 2bbl or 4bbl motor?

That will have an impact on how much power it makes because each one uses a different cam, but in both cases set the cam straight up.. retarding the cam is just retarded.. I don't know why anybody would do that normally since it would soften low rpm tq output.
