Using aSCT Flash tunner and running a Banks Six Gun tunner on a 06 F-250
I have a 2006 Ford F-250 with a Banks Six gun tuner with the Banks IQ. I am putting a EGR delete kit on from Bullet Proof Diesel. From what i have heard people saying is that with the Banks IQ i can not turn off my EGR valve and was wondering if it was possible to use the SCT Flash tuner to turn off the EGR valve and then go in with the Banks IQ and program my truck just using the Banks IQ after i flashed it with the SCT Flash tuner.

With the Banks i don't think you can turn your EGR valve off. I could be wrong but with the Banks you can only choose from either 1-6 on your power options you aren't able to go in and fine tune or tweek anything. I talked to the guys at Banks and SCT and what they suggested was remove the Banks so the truck is back to stock program then flash it with the SCT then go put the Banks back on. From here Banks said i should be able to tune it using the Banks on top of the SCT. What the guys at SCT said was just use the Banks as a monitor.

Why do you think it would be bad? So you think it would work? What's the worse that could happen? Possibly it wouldn't start if it was done wrong the tect at the Ford dealer in my area said. I have the banks system already on my truck and the IQ is really nice to watch your gauges and have peramiters set with the IQ system

Stacking tunes is just asking for blown HG's, cylinder temps and pressures to high too.
I'm not knowledgeable on the Banks setup, but I don't use them. You could have some issues with stacking and not know it until it's too late. Run the SCT tunes, and use the banks for gauges.
Then you don't have to worry about potential catastrophic failures.
