wheel bearings

My factory wheel bearing (front left) is bad time to change. normally I would prefer to do both front bearings at the same time. Ford dealers price per bearing is $750( comes with a free hub) parts only.Autozone has after market ones for $350(also comes with free hub). Factory one lasted 165000 miles, will aftermarket one last as long? Anybody use aftermarket one, any feedback + or- truck is used for heavy hauling and towing. truck is 2005 f-350 drw crew cab 4x4 with 6.0

well, if you can get an aftermarket one for half the price, wouldn't that be better. I doubt the ford bearings are twice as good, but you never know

Did you check the vendors on this site. The partsguyed (Ford dealership) sold me a fan clutch at half what my local Ford dealership wanted. And shipping wasn't too bad. I saved over $200.00.

Wow, those oem bearings made of gold or what?.ive always used aftermarket hubs and bearings with no problems.

no difference between using motorcraft or aftermarket generic brand. go for it.
