A guy has gotten himself confused

Alrighty. Preface: truck occasionally has a stutter, guessing it’s the EBPV sticking as the previous owner mentioned he had a code for it show up every now and again. Planned on checking this before anything else as it seems sensible. Don’t have the time to remove it entirely at the moment, so figured unplugging it would be a quick and easy fix.
Well, after much research, I am officially stumped. I have a late 2004, so it SHOULD have the plug on the pedestal, not? Because for the life of me I can’t see one. The only plug (or harness, for that matter) on the turbo is the VGT plug. Two wires, black and purple, coming off a solenoid between the compressor and the turbine. Looking down at the pedestal, I see nothing else… plan on looking a bit further with a light after I post this though.
am I getting the EBP sensor (the one next to the dipstick-ish) confused with the EBPV here? And if so, will unplugging it (the EBP) throw a CEL? This is by no means a pressing matter and is a minor annoyance more than anything right now, but getting this straight in my head would be a relief. TIA

The 6.0L does not have an EBP valve.

The EBP sensor comes off of the drivers exhaust manifold.
