Ross, your right it was sold as a '49 (my typo, I fixed it).
As to your other comment, I have been unable to find any ad for this truck, so it seems that we have no idea where she saw this.
About 2 years ago there was a guy in Alabama that was using a picture of JimBollman's 1950 F1 in his ads. Also about 3 years ago I had a guy selling a Harley on the Knoxville Craigslist at a great price. sent me all kinds of pictures including the vin#. It turned out to be a scam and he was just using pictures and info from an old eBay ad. These things tend to always make me suspicious.

Suspicious is better than screwed! Scamming on Craigslist is a full-time job for a bunch of people.

Maybe this is Bob's F-100 selling it?!

That is why I told IslandGirl to ask him for a video that has the truck and todays (that days) newspaper in the same video with the truck... a couple things this does... One is confirm that he has possition of the truck. Second allows you to see the condition of the truck today. Third is to have one of our members in the area take a look at it in person before you make a deal...

Got the email with pictures and story from "IslandGirl". Truck was recently listed and sold from an eBay auction. With some assistance from the FTE CFU (crime fighters unit), the location of where the truck's pictures were taken for the eBay ad was revealed. A quick Google search for the name matched with a business of the same name in the same city from where the seller on eBay is located. The name of the seller also matched to the owner of the business and the person dealing with IslandGirl.

I will be stopping by this place shortly to play dumb and see if I can spot the truck in question.

Stay tuned to this exciting episode of FTE: CFU.

Gotta subscribe to this one so I don't miss out.
Hopefully you will get a chance to give the truck a once over for IslandGirl.

I renamed the photo album where the pictures are stored in my Photobucket acct after I posted them and it screwed up the links.

I've edited my original post to include pictures now.

Nice looking truck, I hope you get it for a fair price.

Although, now I want to see pictures of the other vehicles. At least 2 more trucks, 2 t-birds, what is that white car with the big back glass?
