need help with door locks

I'm new here. My 2000 f-250 is giving me fits with the door locks. When I use the remote OR the rocker switch, I hear the under-dash controller click and I see some movement in the lock button---BUT neither door lock will lock or unlock I have to manually push/pull the locks.

I have changed the remote battery and disconnected and reconnected the 12 volt system to allow the computer to reboot. I need guidance on how to proceed.

You can also get some wd-40 and spray the heck out of them. They have grease in the latch mechanism from the factory and over time it gets hard. The wd-40 will help break that grease down and might get them working easier.
