What is wrong with yours? You may need to do torque pin mod and it is basically free minus your labor. The Ford window motors are totally rebuildable and easy to do. The hardest part is removing it from the door.

This was a neat idea, thanks again to lgwilson for suggesting this!

Last month's will be unstuck & closed.

Post your wants & needs here, even if they were on last month's list; there's enough chatter on the old one it gets hard to know if somebody is still needing a part or not without reading through the entire thing.

Please keep monetary-transaction talk amongst yourselves - in PMs or e-mail.

It's fine if we want to give/sell things to each other but we can't be running a Flea Market or Auction House here, that's against the spirit of what we do here - people helping each other.

You might also check out the 80-86 Truck Parts - Free to a good home thread.

Ok, another odd request. I need the yoke (bolt on piece from the flange on the back of the transfer case) off of an early 90's ranger. I believe it's for a 1210 series ujoint (or whatever ujoint a fullsize bronco uses in their drive shafts) got a ranger I'm doing some "work" to, but can't find a ranger with "big joints" with the proper piece. ....anyone?

Thanks fellas!!

For what year? Actually, it probably doesn't matter.

Now, watch, Ralph will come shake his finger at me - NO NO NO! They're different!!!!!!

Reason I ask is, I saw a pretty nice 1982 in my local yard (these things are hard to find these days) but haven't looked at the tailgate. You probably want the handle & metal rods and... and... and, what?

Good. Now, what is it, exactly, you are looking for?

basically everything for a tailgate besides the gate itself. latch, rods all that good stuff, and the brackets for the latches. the tailgate i have is just a shell with the only parts still attached being the "hinges" on the bottom

86 is the cutoff for most of what you are after, everything changed at 87. I doubt the handle swaps, the latches most certainly do not.

1980-82 used straps, 1983+ used cables on the ends to hold the latch open. There are differences between these two systems and I don't think one can intermix parts and have it all work. Others would know for certain, I'm just going from memory.

This has been going for over a year now and seems to work OK.

If you are still needing/wanting something you may have posted in a prior month, re-post it here as I doubt most people look at the old ones.
