alright guys i need your help. planning on heading to the grand canyon tomorrow morning. my issue is i see its supposed to be snowing in flagstaff. normally not an issue for an alaskan but we rented a crown vic can anyone up that way let me know what the roads are like?? wondering if i need to try and find a different way or maybe you guys know of a better way. i'm in scottsdale now.

ok figured i would update! things went perfectly the roads were great. only snow covered roads were actually at the canyon but the Crown Vic did great!

my first time at the grand canyon it was alittle chilly(the wind) but still AMAZING!

figured i'd share a few pics of the trip.

 

Great Pic's! glad you had a good time in AZ.... maybe one day i can get up to Alaska, not during the winter though.

 

I don't miss that place one bit! I worked up there for 5 years. seen sooooooooo many vehicles upside down on those roads in winter storms. and tourist! I mean seriously if it is actually "tourist season" why can't we hunt them?
it is totally breath taking! after working there for 5 years than being gone for 7 I went back and hiked down the Kiabab trail, down the river and up Bright Angel trail. that was AWESOM! it took 6 hours and 22 minutes.
